Web application support: we take ownership of your app.

Your app is live, but bugs pile up, nobody knows why it slows down and the original developers are gone. We take responsibility for it — debug what's broken, make it observable, and keep improving it with you.

incident: checkout-errors

  1. Error rate spike detected

    alert.fire()

  2. Traced to a slow payment API call

    trace.find()

  3. Fix reviewed and deployed

    deploy()

  4. New alert and dashboard added

    observe.add()

What ownership means

Your app, our responsibility.

Most support contracts react to tickets. We take ownership instead: we learn your codebase and infrastructure, become accountable for keeping the app healthy, and bring ideas to the table rather than waiting for instructions. You keep full control of the product and the decisions; we make sure it works and keeps getting better.

You

Focus on the business

  • Tell us your priorities and pain points
  • Brainstorm features and fixes with us
  • Approve changes before they go live
  • Get clear reports on what changed and why

Dataforge

Own the app day to day

  • Monitor health, errors and performance
  • Debug and fix issues, including legacy code
  • Keep dependencies and security patches current
  • Propose and ship improvements

How it works

From handover to a healthy, observable app

  1. Audit

We review the code, infrastructure, deployments and current issues, then share a clear report of risks and quick wins.

  2. Stabilize

We fix the most painful bugs first, secure the deployment process and patch outdated or vulnerable dependencies.

  3. Observe

We add logging, metrics, tracing and alerts, so problems show up on a dashboard before your users report them.

  4. Improve

Together we brainstorm and prioritize improvements — performance, UX, new features — and ship them month by month.

What's included

Everything your web app needs after launch

  • Ownership

    One accountable team

No more chasing freelancers. One team knows your app end to end and is responsible for its health.

  • Debugging

    Root causes, not workarounds

We reproduce issues, trace them to their source and fix them properly, with tests so they don't come back.

  • Observability

See what your app is doing

Structured logs, metrics, traces and alerts give you and us a clear picture of errors, slow pages and usage.

  • Performance

    Faster pages and APIs

We find bottlenecks in the frontend, backend and database, and fix the ones that matter to your users.

  • Security

    Updates and patches

Frameworks, libraries and servers stay up to date, and known vulnerabilities get patched quickly.

  • Brainstorming

    Ideas, not just tickets

We look at how the app is used and suggest improvements, from small UX fixes to features worth building next.

Observability

Know what's wrong before your users tell you

Observability means your app explains its own behaviour. These are the four building blocks we set up and maintain.

  1. Logs

Structured, searchable logs with request IDs, so any error can be followed from the click to the database.

  2. Metrics

Response times, error rates, traffic and resource usage on dashboards you can read at a glance.

  3. Traces

Distributed tracing across your frontend, APIs and third-party services pinpoints exactly where time is lost.

  4. Alerts

Alerts on real symptoms — failed payments, slow checkouts, error spikes — routed to the people who can act.

FAQ

Questions about web application support

Can you support an app that someone else built?

Yes, that's most of our support work. We start with an audit to understand the code and infrastructure, document what we find and then take ownership from there.

What does “taking ownership” mean in practice?

We become the team responsible for your app's health: we watch it, fix it, keep it updated and propose improvements. You keep control of the product and approve what goes live.

What is observability, and why does my app need it?

Observability is the logs, metrics, traces and alerts that show what your app is doing in production. Without it, bugs are found by users and slowdowns are guesswork; with it, problems are visible and fixable quickly.

How fast do you respond to incidents?

We agree response times per severity level in the support plan, so critical issues are handled first and you know what to expect.

Do we need to change our hosting or tools?

No. We work with your existing stack and hosting, and only recommend changes when they bring a clear benefit.

How is support priced?

Support runs as a monthly plan sized to your app and the level of coverage you need. The initial audit is agreed separately before we start.

Can you also build new features?

Yes. Improvements and new features are part of the monthly work, and larger features can be run as a separate spec-driven project.

Tell us about your app

Share what your app does and what's bothering you about it. We'll reply within one business day with questions and how we'd start the audit.
